Walk in with a photo. Walk out with the right hardware.

Gala Bath World

At a glance

Gala's showroom carries thousands of handles, hinges and fittings, a range few stores can match. Customers arrive with a screenshot and a rough idea. The match used to mean a salesperson and a walk down the aisles; now it takes a photo.

Where it started

The customer knew what they wanted. A catalogue that size needed a faster way in.

Someone walks in with a photo of a handle they saw at a friend's place, or a designer's mood board on their phone. They know it when they see it. They cannot name it.

So a salesperson walks the aisles with them, working from a description: finish, size, brand, pulling boxes, checking stock. One match at a time, on a busy Saturday, with three more people waiting for that same expertise.

What we built

A shop floor that recognises what you are holding.

  1. Ask it, snap it, or send it from your phone.

A kiosk on the floor. Type what you are after, snap the piece you brought, or scan a QR and share the reference straight from your phone.

No app, no account. The photo lands on the screen in front of you.

  2. Pluto names the piece and pulls the closest matches.

It reads the photo: a matte black lever on a round rose, a cylinder escutcheon below. Then it searches the store's own catalogue and shows what Gala has, with price, availability and the bay it sits in.

A second row shows what is also worth a look, in case the exact one is out.

  3. Shortlist, compare, then talk to someone.

Tap the ones you like, see them side by side with finish, material, size and article number, and call a salesperson when you are ready.

The salesperson walks up to a decision, not a blank question.

How it works

Photo to shelf, in a minute.

  1. 01Ask

Type it, snap it, or send it from your phone over a QR.

  2. 02Identify

Pluto reads the photo and names the piece, part by part.

  3. 03Match

It searches Gala's own catalogue and shows what is on the shelf, with price and bay.

  4. 04Compare

Shortlist, see them side by side, and hand the decision to a salesperson.

The value

The browsing happens before a salesperson is needed.

  1. The match

Found in a minute, from a photo, without walking the aisles.

  2. The floor

One salesperson serves the people who are ready, not everyone who is looking.

  3. The catalogue

Every handle, hinge and fitting is searchable by what it looks like.

Ask it, snap it, or send it from your phone. Pluto finds it on the shelf.
