Where it started

The category still runs on tools built for 2014.

A Bangalore university admin gets hundreds of verification emails a month and drops most of them. Ex-employer HR gives vague answers because there is no better way to ask. Checks are batched, and status is only available by phone call.

DigiLocker, UIDAI, EPFO, MCA21, eCourts, Vahan: government-built, free, instantly verifiable. The category still asks candidates for scanned PDFs and calls ex-employers anyway, then hands back a report so long the hiring manager only skims it. Dcode wanted to be the exception.

What we built

A worklist that opens on what needs a decision today, not a wall of charts.

    Quick Verify asks HR for one thing: the candidate's phone number. Pluto pulls their name, PAN, Aadhaar address and full UAN employment history from four government sources at once, with a confidence score attached.

    It also says what still needs a manual check, instead of presenting everything as equally certain.

    When a candidate's stated salary and their UAN record do not match, Pluto does not just flag it.
